Cadac Consoles is exhibiting its CM-J50 digital mixing console running the latest V3.20 software at LEaT con in Hamburg, with a second CM-J50 on show at LLB Expo (Booth B13:24) in Stockholm. Both shows run from 6 to 8 October.

At LEaT con, Cadac Consoles is exhibiting a CM-J50 and a CM-SR series I/O stage rack on booth A2-D06, alongside Aura Audio, Cadac's Finnish distributor.

"V3.20 Console Software is the culmination of all the work we have put in since ISE 2026," states James Godbehear, Director of Marketing and Business Operations. "We have added a raft of new features including programmable Quick Access buttons, Relative Cue Ripple, a Quick Console Setup page and a number of improvements to the GUI."

"This update also improves workflow as a result of listening to our users," continues Emily Watson, Head of Research and Development. "We have sped up the startup of the console, dramatically improved the performance of custom layers, added on-screen navigation highlights and increased the granularity of features. We have gone through button legibility across the console, added more functionality to the on-screen keyboard and improved the depth and breadth of user libraries. Individually these are small things. Together they take friction out of the workflow."

Godbehear adds, "The CM-SR stage racks did not escape the updates. We have added signal present and overload indication, along with improved level metering and a new headphone menu all on the rack's 2.4-inch colour display."

Alongside the console software, three control apps are available as free downloads: CM-Remote for wireless control from one or several iPads, CM-Monitor for personal monitor mixing from an unlimited number of iPhones or iPads, and CM-Meters, the most recent addition, for real-time metering on iPad and Mac.

At LLB Expo, a second CM-J50 can be seen on the FMX Group booth (B13:24).

Visitors to LEaT con are welcome to book time on the console with James Godbehear or Emily Watson, who are at the show for all three days, through Cadac or Aura Audio.

Cadac Consoles will be showing further CM-Series developments at ISE 2027 in Barcelona in February.
